| Self-portrait using Lenovo tablet. Edited by "photographer to the stars" Alan Mercer |
Allow me to borrow the quote from Friedrich Nietzsche that says “ There is more wisdom in your body than in your deepest philosophy.” I am not a wide reader in fact I get bored easily. I tend to skip from page to page to see if the end coincides with my thoughts about the story or article. I had to look for a phrase prior to writing this and I thought the one mentioned from Friedrich is the perfect, not too familiar but means just the same.
Our body is composed of different parts. Some are visible to our eyes and most are not because they're myriad and too small to be seen. Small and invisible is what simply defined our cells and the submicroscopic elements that they are made of. Human body is as complex as the rest of the organisms. Layer by layer it reveals something about an individual like universe to solar system and now multiverse.
Our body stores wisdom because it is by which our soul lives. Once the body lost its physical role through time the philosophy enriched soul will leave to cause another to exist. Our body is like a car and the soul or spirit which it contained is the driver. Body and soul have to work in unison to create what we call LIFE.
There should be no debate as to what the saying goes. But for me the easiest way to understand is to simplify. Are you familiar with the biblical line that says “ Our body is the temple of the holy spirit”.? One thing I must be certain of, just because you have a beautiful body doesn't mean you have a beautiful soul. A beautiful soul lives in a body of different sizes and shapes.

ALMOST immaculate.Cant believe that the photo was taken using only a tablet. The distortion is obvious once you enlarge the photo but its forgivable.I bet the photo was sent back and forth. I researched about Alan Mercer and im impressed he decided to touch this photo. The content is simply meaningful that a person doesn't need to be deeply spiritual to understand. Is the author the one in the picture?
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment. Alan Mercer used to work with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood.I haven't met him in person but we keep an open line for sharing life stories and ideas. Yes! the person in the picture is the author.
DeleteOn point! The analogy is clear though it seems the author is amateur to this topic. I think he made a point and that is the most important.
ReplyDeleteThis is a meaningful blog from the Author who seems to always write about deep and spiritual matters. What a joy for me to know of this talented man!
